Synopsis
A superior ocean submersible- - portion of a worldwide undersea insight program- - has been assaulted by a big animal, to the front thought to be wiped out, and now lies incapacitated at the base of the most far afield ahead trench in the Pacific... following its team caught inside. With era running out, master unfriendly ocean save jumper Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) is enlisted by a visionary Chinese oceanographer (Winston Chao), nearby the desires of his girl Suyin (Li Bingbing), to spare the vivaciousness - and the sea itself- - from this relentless risk: a pre-memorable 75-foot-long shark known as the Megalodon. What nobody could have envisioned is that, prior years, Taylor had experienced this same frightening animal. Presently, cooperated taking into account Suyin, he should go uphill against his apprehensions and hazard his own particular energy to spare everybody caught underneath.
